A Message from Ellie's Caretaker

In 2021, back when she was just a year old, Ellie had a creatinine level of 1.8. Our vet told us that she’d be fine as long as she drank plenty of water, so I believed that her health wasn’t in any danger.

However, on March 2024, I noticed that Ellie seemed to be a lot more stressed than usual, and suspected that she might have mouth ulcers, so I took her to the animal clinic for a blood test. There, we learned that Ellie actually had stage 2 kidney disease.

Upon receiving the news, I immediately started giving AIM Dr. Toru Protocol supplements to Ellie.

I’d feed her 1 capsule in the morning and evening, and after 1 month, her blood test results started to improve. As of September, 5 months after I first began giving Ellie the supplements, her creatinine levels have dropped from 2.1 to 1.37, her BUN levels from 35.7 to 30, and her SMDA levels from 26.9 to 13. All of these levels are now in the normal range for a cat like Ellie.

In fact, her creatinine levels now are actually lower than they were when they were measured back when she was just a year old! Even our vet was surprised at how much better her kidney levels had gotten.

Now, I’m doing my best to continue caring for Ellie. The whole experience has been a huge wake-up call for me, and I’m paying more attention to keeping her kidneys healthy than ever before.
