Camus’s Stage 2 CKD Care – Restoring Vitality and Balance

Recently, Camus’s guardian shared wonderful news — within just six months, his kidney values returned to the normal range.

When we reached out to thank her, she kindly agreed to share the details of Camus’s care routine so that other guardians could find hope too.

This story is written from the guardian’s perspective, based on her original review and our conversation,  a heartfelt account of steady care, patience, and love.

  • Name: Camus
  • Home: Seoul, Korea
  • Age: 7 years old
  • Condition: Stage 2 CKD

From Camus’s Guardian

In April 2025, my cat Camus was diagnosed with Stage 2 chronic kidney disease.
His bloodwork showed creatinine at 2.06 mg/dL and BUN at 32 mg/dL — both higher than the normal range.
At that time, he was noticeably lethargic and spent most of the day lying down.

Starting the Routine

Right after diagnosis, I began daily care with Dr. Toru Protocol and Probiotics Protocol.
Every morning, I gave him the probiotic first, directly by mouth, and after about thirty minutes, mixed the Dr. Toru capsule with a treat.
He ate his renal diet afterward, and in the evening, I added another Dr. Toru capsule into his wet renal food.

At first, managing two supplements a day was a bit difficult, but soon it became part of our daily routine.

Lab Values and Condition

📅 April 2025
Creatinine: 2.06 BUN: 32 Phosphorus: 4.3

📅 October 2025
Creatinine: 1.39 BUN: 21.3 Phosphorus: 4.3

During these six months, Camus’s kidney values returned to normal range and his weight stayed stable at 6.9 kg.
His appetite improved, and he began to show more energy — now he often asks me to play with him.

** These values were shared directly by the guardian based on their cat’s lab results.

What I Felt as a Guardian

At first, I was anxious and unsure if he would get better.
But as I saw his energy return, I realized how important steady, consistent care is.
Seeing Camus healthy again made me feel deeply relieved and grateful.

A Small Lesson

When it comes to kidney care, patience and routine matter most.
Even small daily efforts can bring remarkable changes over time.
