Napoleon’s Stage 3 CKD Care – Finding Balance

Name: Napoleon
Home: Norcross, USA
DATE of Birth: April, 29, 2011 (14 years old)
Condition: Stage 3

From Napoleon’s Guardian

In February 2025, my cat Napoleon was diagnosed with Stage 3 CKD.
Hearing the diagnosis was difficult, and I worried about what might come next.
But with patient, consistent care and support from the Greycoat Research consultation team, I slowly began to notice small yet meaningful changes.

Starting the Routine

We began care using the Full Spectrum Care Set, which includes the Dr. Toru Protocol, Intensive Protocol, and Probiotics Protocol.
I followed the guidance provided during the consultation, and made sure Napoleon also received proper hydration and a balanced diet as advised by our veterinarian.

At the same time, I continued his prescribed medications and other supplements that were part of his routine—fluoxetine for anxiety, cerenia every other day, Tripsy from NHV, and Fortiflora.

Over time, I started to see that he was maintaining his weight well and eating with more appetite.

Lab Values and Condition

📅 April 15, 2025

  • Creatinine: 3.3    BUN: 43

📅 June 21, 2025

  • Creatinine: 2.5  BUN: 35

During this period, Napoleon’s appetite more stable, and his weight stayed steady at 9.4 lbs.
His overall energy seemed brighter, and he looked more comfortable in daily life.

As his guardian, I learned that small improvements can mean a lot—and that stability itself is a sign of progress in CKD care.

What I Felt as a Guardian

Through this journey, I’ve realized that the most important thing is not fast results, but consistent, gentle support.
I now pay closer attention to Napoleon’s appetite, weight, and hydration each day.
Even small routines, like giving fluids regularly and watching how he feels after meals, have become essential habits in our daily life together.

When I see him eating well and resting peacefully, it reminds me that patience truly pays off.

Looking Ahead

Napoleon continues to maintain stable values and good energy.
My hope is simply to keep supporting him so he can enjoy his days comfortably for as long as possible.
With steady care and love, I believe we can continue to protect this stability together.
