Name: Myeotsi
Date of Birth: 2015 (9 years old)
Condition: Stage 2 CKD

From Myeotsi’s Guardian
Myeotsi had always been a healthy and active cat, but one day his energy began to fade.
When his kidney values suddenly rose, he became quieter and spent much of his time resting.
Sensing that something wasn’t right, I decided to focus on steady, consistent care for him.
Starting the Routine
In August 2024, we began a structured care plan that included the Dr. Toru Protocol and Intensive Protocol, along with his usual renal diet and phosphorus binder.
Under our veterinarian’s guidance, we gradually adjusted his supplements and closely monitored his response.
Over time, his appetite became steadier, and he began moving around more during the day.
Seeing him show interest in play again gave me a sense of relief and hope.
| Health Metric | Before | After | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Creatinine (CRE) | 1.93 | 1.13 | Maintained within a more stable range at follow-up |
| BUN Levels | 31.9 | 26.4 | Showed steady balance in kidney readings |
| Phosphorus Levels | 4.4 | 3.5 | Within managed levels under consistent care |
| Weight | 4.5 kg | 4.6 kg | Slight gain, remained in healthy range |

Daily Life and Condition
Over the months, Myeotsi’s behavior gradually shifted.
He began running around the house again, greeting family members, and showing affection more often.
His appetite became consistent, and his weight stabilized in a healthy range.
For me, seeing these small, steady changes has meant more than any number on paper.
It reminded me that caring for a cat with CKD isn’t about quick fixes—it’s about patience and daily balance.
What I Learned as a Guardian
At first, I was afraid that changing his routine might cause stress.
But over time, I realized that gentle consistency brought him a sense of comfort.
Now, Myeotsi spends more time awake and engaged, often following me around or asking for attention.

Looking Ahead
Myeotsi continues to live with stable energy and a healthy appetite.
We plan to keep monitoring his values and maintaining the same calm, structured care routine that has helped him stay comfortable and active.
