We've been on it for about a month now, and I have noticed a positive change in Siber's behavior. He is back to being his vocal self, asking for attention, and asking for food or treats. He appears a bit more lively, although he is 21 now, so his energy isn't super high anymore, but he does ask to go outside to roam his backyard. His appetite also increased for a while, but seems to have off days where he's not interested in food at all.
The powder in the pills is quite a bit, and I found a good way to give it to him. Instead of the traumatic shove a pill down his throat method, I've been using the lickable tube treats and stirring the powder into a spoon with those, and then he readily licks most of it up.
